One of the most fashionable movies I have ever seen is 'Factory Girl'. The story revolves around Edie Sedgwick, a photography student in the New Jersey University who comes to New York to become Andy Warhol's new muse. Warhol made Edie America's new IT Girl by turning her into a movie star, a super model and a fashion icon. It all starts when he asks Edie to be in one of he's underground movies, after that they started to form a friendship by spending time at Andy's studio, which he called 'The Factory". After she is introduced to Billy Quinn, a famous poet and song writer, they start a relationship. A relationship that makes Andy jealous, neither of them like each other, in an attempt to reconcile them, Edie arranges a meeting at the factory. But Billy calls Andy a bloodsucker that will kill her, he offers her to come with him but she chooses to stay. Edie becomes a drug addict. After her relationship with Andy deteriorates, Vogue refuses to hire her anymore, claiming she has become vulgar and cheap. This event marks the beginning of her ruin, which is followed by her losing her apartment and all her money. After having to become a prostitute, she is sent by her family to a mental institution in California. In the final caption is explained that she died two years later from an over doses, she was 30 years old.
